1) Lighting

Porsche states that all new 911 models come equipped standard with Bi-Xenon headlights with dynamic range control. Brightness is twice that of conventional halogen headlights. Porsche 911s equipped with this option have sensors that continuously monitor the automobiles speed and acceleration, and calculate the course of the bend in the road. 2) Stability Management

Porsche’s PSM is an automatic control system for providing stability across the range of the 911’s performance. As explained in Porsche company material, PSM computes the actual direction of the automobile’s motion. When the direction varies from the desired path, PSM may introduce braking on targeted individual wheels. The driver is alerted to the system’s activation. Additionally when under acceleration on wet or low-traction road surfaces, PSM improves traction using something known as automatic brake differential (ABD) and anti-slip regulation (ASR).

3) Ceramic Composite Brakes

The Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) system for the new 911s are specified to have a diameter of 350 mm on the front and rear to provide impressive braking performance. The braking discs are much harder than standard discs and more resistant to heat. PCCB is known by its low thermal expansion which deters deformation under heavy braking. Impressively the ceramic brake discs are completely resistant to corrosion and exhibit noise-damping properties. In short, the system delivers all the necessary ingredients for short braking distance, even in the toughest conditions.

4) Airbags

Porsche represents itself as not only an innovator in production installation but also in airbag technology. The new 911 models include airbag technology with improvements to include a full-size airbags for driver and passenger. Deployment of airbags occur at two levels depending on the severity and type of accident. In less serious accidents the airbag is partially inflated to minimize the impact to the occupants.
