Auto body services at Colorado based Prestige Imports Collision Repair Center are consistently practiced in ways that respect the environment. Participation in the Colorado Environmental Leadership Program is one of the ways we demonstrate our commitment to environmental issues that affect Colorado. Concern for the environment is a company value we uphold, one that benefits both our customers and our employees.
The Colorado Environmental Leadership Program (ELP) is a voluntary program that encourages and rewards superior environmental performers that go beyond the requirements of environmental regulations. The program is open to all Colorado businesses, industries, offices, educational institutions, municipalities, government agencies, community, not-for-profit and other organizations. Currently, the program consists of three tiers, Bronze, Silver and Gold. An additional tier, Platinum, is under development.
The Prestige Imports Collision Repair Center is a Silver Partner in the Colorado Environmental Leadership Program. Prestige Imports shares this distinction with an exclusive group of Colorado companies. Other organizations participating in the program at the Silver level include Lexmark International, Miller Coors, the City of Aspen, and Winter Park. Current Gold level partners include Lockheed Martin, Ball Aerospace, IBM Corporation, Goodrich Corporation, Kodak Corporation and Intel to mention a few.
The program is open to a broad range of the state’s companies and organizations. To retain program tier status in the Environmental Leadership Program, organizations must maintain substantial compliance with applicable environmental regulations while in the program.
The executive director of the department may place a member on probation or terminate its Environmental Leadership Program designation for any of the following environmental compliance issues:
- The Environmental Leadership Program member has been convicted of a criminal violation of applicable environmental requirements;
- The Environmental Leadership Program member has been assessed a significant civil or
administrative penalty or damages for violation(s) of environmental requirements;
- The Environmental Leadership Program member has been found by a court of appropriate jurisdiction to have been responsible for an illegal action that caused substantial endangerment to public health or to the environment; or,
- The Environmental Leadership Program member was found by the executive director to have failed to promptly or adequately correct and resolve a violation of applicable environmental requirements.
